Swami Maitreyānand Ji hails from a small village nestled in the forests of Madhya Pradesh. Born in June 1972, Swami Ji has had a deep interest in meditation since childhood. From the age of 6 or 7, he enjoyed venturing into the forest alone for meditation. At times, he would spend the whole night meditating in the forest, sometimes even with wild animals like tigers and other creatures sitting in front or near him.
